Hyaluronic Acid — The Molecule Of Rejuvenation
Most Hyamax® products are formulated with hyaluronic acid, a molecule naturally present in the human body, particularly in the skin and mucous membranes. Renowned for its remarkable ability to retain up to 1,000 times its own weight in water, hyaluronic acid plays a critical role in maintaining tissue hydration, firmness, and overall skin vitality.
Due to its short half-life and high water solubility, hyaluronic acid requires stabilization before clinical use. This is achieved through a process known as cross-linking, in which HA molecules are interconnected to form a viscoelastic gel. The resulting gel provides long-lasting effects-such as smoothing, lifting, and volumizing the skin-that can persist for several months.
The Patented Cross-Linking
Laboratories Hyamed SA has developed CD™ Cross-linking Technology, an innovative method that combines both physical and chemical cross-linking of hyaluronic acid. This approach significantly reduces the amount of BDDE required while improving cross-linking efficiency. As a result, it enhances safety, minimizes HA degradation, and provides long-lasting performance with effects lasting up to 18 months.
For clinical applications aimed at lifting skin tissues and restoring volume, the HA gel must possess a unique combination of elasticity and viscosity to effectively respond to various mechanical stresses within the tissues. As a result, this technology optimizes the product’s rheology, particularly by achieving a uniform cross-linked HA structure. It ensures the viscosity required for excellent injectability while increasing the density of chemical nodes. This guarantees the cohesion of the HA gel and maintains its monophasic properties.
The Patented Hybrid Technology
M-DOVETL™ Hybrid technology is an advanced formulation method for hyaluronic acid that combines high and low molecular weight variants without chemical agents to enhance bioavailability and hydration. This innovative approach improves the absorption and utilization of hyaluronic acid in the skin, delivering deep moisture and long-lasting effects. Additionally, it optimizes rheological properties, ensuring balanced viscosity for better injectability and overall performance in both aesthetic and therapeutic applications.
Beyond superior delivery, the hybrid design drives distinct biological renewal. By engaging the dermis at multiple molecular layers, strengthens the skin’s intrinsic cellular resilience and repair response, stimulates the renewed synthesis of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid itself, and promotes a more organized, denser dermal matrix—translating technical performance into visibly firmer, more resilient, and rejuvenated skin over time
